Theatre of Hope: Darna’s Moroccan Arts Revival

 By Alex Silverman

Our Theatre, Our Home is a special look into one theater’s impact on its community. This short documentary comes to us from Actuality Abroad, produced by Rachel Fogerty and directed by Faysal Farah. Théâtre Darna is a local community theater located in Tangier, Morocco. Here, we are given interviews from locals who work with the theater and shown the various kinds of productions they present and the impact it has made on its patrons. We are exposed to everything from stage plays and concerts to parades. It’s a great look into the unique nature and impact of Théâtre Darna as it stands on its own.
